About Your Dentist
Dr. Michael A. Simon is committed to treating every patient as an individual. He listens carefully to each patient’s questions and concerns, and thoroughly explains treatment options. He prides himself on having a leading-edge prosthodontic practice that includes a full range of prosthetic and aesthetic dentistry, as well as the surgical and restorative phase of dental implants.
Dr. Simon received his DMD degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 1989. He completed the post-graduate specialty education program in prosthodontics at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond in 1991.
Dr. Simon served as assistant professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at the Medical College of Virginia from 1989 to 1991. He was the co-chair of the Removable Prosthodontic Section of the Broward Community College dental research clinic. Dr. Simon teaches the latest prosthodontic techniques to dentists in South Florida.
Membership in Professional Organizations
Dr. Simon is a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the South Broward Dental Society, and the North Dade Dental Society. He is also a member of the American College of Prosthodontists, the Florida Prosthodontic Association, and Academy of Osseointegration. He has served as president of the South Broward Dental Society.
Dr. Simon and his wife, Pam, have two sons, Joshua (born in 1995) and Robert (born in 1998).
