Prosthodontics is a dental specialty that requires an additional
three year training period after completing a four year program
of dental school. A Prosthodontist is a dentist who specializes
in the replacement of missing teeth with an emphasis on aestheics.
As
a specialist in prosthodontics, Dr. Simon provides patients with
all types of dental services that would include full mouth reconstruction.
Difficult cases with significant problems with function and aesthetics
would be handled by a prosthodontist. Dr. Simon also provides a
wide range of other dental procedures such as fillings, single
or multiple
crowns, bridges, dentures and all phases of dental implants.
It
is important to note that patients in need of dental implants
can have both the surgical and restorative phases of dental implants
done by Dr. Simon in our office. Completing all facets of implant
treatment in one office by one doctor is a great benefit to patients,
this will eliminate the patient from having to have multiple
dental
appointments in the same day at different locations. Dental implants
are the most advanced and natural-looking tooth replacement system
ever devised. Implants provide stable, fixed restorations and
enhance the quality of patients' lives. Dental implants never decay
or
require root canals, and they help preserve the jawbone, which
can prevent
the appearance of premature aging.
We also have a strong interest
in cosmetic procedures such as teeth whitening and veneers. Dr. Simon will provide emergency treatment
for symptoms from toothache, as well as treatment of temporomandibular

We have a full equipped dental laboratory in our office that is
used in many cases to save patients' time and ensure the highest
quality
control. On occasion, a patient will break an existing prosthesis,
such as a denture, which will require an unexpected visit to our
office. The repair can often be done while the patient waits.
We also have three registered dental hygienist
in our office who will clean your teeth professionally and provide
you with home care instruction.
